How to Use the AI Scanner
The AI Scanner helps you quickly add sports cards and memorabilia to your Relic Roster collection by analyzing an uploaded image and suggesting item details.
What the AI Scanner does
The AI Scanner can help identify key information from an item image, including:
- –Item type
- –Player or athlete name
- –Team
- –Sport
- –Year or era
- –Brand or manufacturer
- –Card set or memorabilia type
- –Visible authentication or grading details
- –General description of the item
The scan results are meant to speed up data entry, not replace your own review. Always confirm important details before saving an item to your collection.
How to scan an item

Go to your collection dashboard.

Select Add Item.

Choose the AI Scanner option.

Upload a clear photo of the item.

Wait for the scan results to generate.

Review the suggested item details.

Edit any fields that need correction.

Save the item to your collection.
Best items to scan
The AI Scanner works best with clear images of:
- –Sports cards
- –Graded cards
- –Autographed items
- –Jerseys
- –Photos
- –Tickets
- –Programs
- –Equipment
- –Other sports memorabilia
For cards, try to include the full front of the card. For memorabilia, include any visible signatures, logos, tags, labels, authentication stickers, or certificates.
Important note
AI results may not always be perfect. Some items may be difficult to identify if the image is blurry, cropped, dark, reflective, or missing key details. You should always review and correct the results before saving.
