1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, like browser storage (localStorage), do roughly the same job: they let a site remember something about your visit from one page to the next, or from one visit to another.
2. Why We Use Them
We use cookies and similar technologies for two reasons:
- Essential functionality: remembering your cookie preference, and letting the contact form on this site actually send.
- Analytics and conversion tracking: understanding how visitors use the site (which pages get read, what people click), and whether someone who clicked a Relic Roster ad went on to do something here, like create an account. This only runs if you allow it.
- Knowing how you found us: one first-party cookie that remembers where your visit came from (a search engine, a campaign link, or a referring site), so we can tell which channels bring collectors to Relic Roster.
We don't use these cookies for retargeting, and we don't track you across other websites once you leave this one.
3. Essential Cookies and Technologies
These run regardless of your analytics choice, because the site (or a specific feature you're using) doesn't work without them.

First-party source cookie
This also runs regardless of your analytics choice. It isn't needed for the site to work: it only records how your visit reached us. It's set by Relic Roster alone, shared only between relicroster.com and app.relicroster.com, never sent to a third party, and contains no personal information.

4. Analytics and Conversion Tracking Cookies
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see, in aggregate, how people find and use this site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to real activity on the site. Both use Google's Consent Mode: if you haven't decided yet, or you've said no, none of the following write a cookie to your browser or personalize ads/analytics for you. They only start doing that once you've turned Analytics on.

5. Third-Party Providers
Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking are both provided by Google. 6. How to Control Cookies
You have a few ways to control what runs:
- Accept All: turns Analytics on, alongside essential cookies.
- Reject Non-Essential: keeps only essential cookies running.
- Customize: choose Analytics individually.
- Cookie Settings: reopen this choice at any time from the link in the footer of any page.
- Your browser's own settings, which let you block or delete cookies site-wide.
7. Targeted Advertising
Relic Roster does not currently use cookies for targeted advertising.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
If we start using a new cookie or technology, or change how an existing one works, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. If the change is significant enough to affect what you previously agreed to, we'll ask for your consent again.
